What We're Crafting in February

Here is a look at what my Stampin' Up! Hostesses and their Guests will be making at my workshops in February. This is a great month to be a Hostess. Customers earn FREE stamps with every $50.00 merchandise purchase. Hostesses are eligible for those FREE stamps, plus the regular FREE Hostess Merchandise, plus merchandise credits, and more FREE stamp sets on top of all that. (See the Sell-a-bration details here!) A "Sweet" Little Album

Here it is -- the little tin album I promised.


This is the Sweet Nothings Accents and Elements tin by Stampin' Up!. On its own -- it is a tin full of die cuts that match the paper and accessories in the Winter Mini Catalog. It can also be an adorable mini scrapbook album.

Join me for a workshop to make one of these for your very own. Learn to use stamps to emboss on metal for a great textured look! And if you're always feeling "behind" in your scrapbooking you can just pick an event or a theme and add the pictures to this album for that "Getting Caught Up" feeling!

You've Been Framed!

This project is so easy I am almost ashamed of it... It will take you longer to check out at Target than it will to alter this item!

You can find it in the "Dollar Spot" -- the vortex at the front of your local Target store that sucks you in as soon as you hit the door. The first few times I passed these little beauties by.


What can I do with something with red glitter hearts that has year-round appeal??? And then on a subsequent trip (I am there at least three times a week!) I slapped myself on the side of the head and said, "ALTER it with paper crafty girl!"


So here's the simple secret. One sheet of patterned paper cut to fit and corner-rounded. (I used the Stampin' Up LOVES ME Designer Paper from the Winter Mini -- AGAIN. I believe that if my children stand still long enough I will adhere this beautiful stuff to them as well.) Then I traced around those glitter hearts and glued a coordinating paper onto them. Now here is the beautiful part. I placed the big sheet of paper on the frame -- laid my picture on top -- and put those magnets down because they hold ALL of it in place. Wow!
